Low clouds, trace of snow.
Snowpack
No signs of instability observed. Got off skin track within tree line and above tree line with no shooting cracks or collapsing. Discontinuous crust below 2 inches of fresh snow located within and above treeline. Summit ridge and bowl had signs of high west winds from last storm cycle. Vegetation is showing and on ridge and on west side of the bowl. Hard slabs are present on the ridgeline. By the goal post, snow surface is wavy or shows ripples. Ski down from the goal post resulted in penetrating through new snow to a crust.
