Sunny in the morning with building clouds through the day. Strong solar radiation and very little wind. S-1 by 3 pm.

Snowpack

SNOWPACK: 8" of new from the past couple days of flurries. Good skiing as new snow was light and well bonded to old NSF's. Skied one lap on South facing where the crust was felt, but not bad. Fast and fun skiing. Surface was becoming moist around midday. Several laps on N facing with no signs of instability and really good turns. AVY ACTIVITY: Noticed 2 small R1-D1's both on E facing steep terrain with fractures about 20-30' wide in the new snow. Both were in wind loaded terrain. One ran about 600 vertical and was size 1.5, the other barely got beyond gliding motion.
