wind calm to light. COLD morning maybe -15C, warming to -5C. o/n ~15cm.

Snowpack

snowpack in protected areas below TL is lacking much energy, as the stiffer midpack slab has somewhat rotted away into...you guessed it...more facets. main concern was point release in the new snow. very little cracking and almost no collapsing. on ese facing at TL the lower snowpack was pretty capped off by a melt freeze crust. new snow on this aspect very upside down. collapsing and cracking only in the new snow above the melt freeze. i would still be concerned about getting enough new snow moving to trigger a deeper layer. on e aspects at TL there was tons of new windloading, a mix 30-40cm soft and hard slabs. no collapsing on this aspect.
