In wind protected areas BTL, the new snow is fairly dense and slabby but showing good bonding with older interfaces in both stability tests and ski cuts on steep convexities. Are you sick of hearing about deep instabilities yet? Still finding hard initiation but clean propagation failing on depth hoar below 2 to 3 ft of slab from several pits dug in different locations (ECTP26, ECTP28).
