Another day of mild temps, with light winds at ridgeline.

Snowpack

Sun crusts, sastrugi, polished wind crusts, temp crusts... snow surface is mostly all manner of crusted evils. Exceptions are sheltered, shaded trees, where there's about 10 cm of recycled powder on supportable slab, and pockets of same on open near-treeline slopes. Some 1-2 mm NSF on surface and some wind slabs/ sastrugi faceting.
