Snowpack
noticed road bank sluffing and breaking in the middle of the new storm snow today. Assuming it was breaking on the graupel we got yesterday afternoon for an hour or so while I was out in the same area. No slab in most areas but something to watch out for in the future.
Avalanche
Kicked off a very small slab on a steep rollover that went to the ground. New snow (18") only ran 3 feet down, about 10 ft. wide. West facing, 10,500, Annie face. Staying off avalanche terrrain but noticed this on very small terrain feature.
