Weather

Hs 70 cm @ Landry stake. Broken skies w a few snow showers S-1. HN24 hard to tell definitively. Ski pen 30-40 cm. Settlement cones around trees and brush. Rime on willows.

Snowpack

F-hard PP near surface, progressively harder w depth to a well consolidated 4F layer above ground. Only felt hollow in/ near one patch of willows. No whumphing; a few radial cracks where newest snow slabbing as it settles. Few signs wind-drifting below treeline.

Avalanche

None observed, but only glimpses of higher terrain. Those glimpses showed start zones on Raspberry ridge well filled, but no obvious slides except possibly a few loose sluffs on steep breakovers on Alley Peak.
