Light snow, warm temperature (0C @1800 m) on the Duffey Lake today. Skied up to Blowdown peak where thin clouds created green house effect, transforming the surface snow into moist conditions. About 30 cm of light snow sitting on a dense layer provided great skiing conditions. Ski down Melissa’s run on a west facing slope. No signs of instability were observed, no sluffing, no new avalanches seen.
