Skied 2 of the N facing chutes above the Noseeum creek drainage. We bailed on another objective due to missing some critical gear and in a rush decided to poke about in the Noseeum creek area. First chute we skied was only good in the top 100m ish and the bottom was crusty which made for easy boot packing but terrible skiing. Second chute was a bit higher up in the drainage and right as we picked it out 2 skiers put tracks down it. We decided to head up a different couloir and still ski the line despite it being tracked. Other couloir had tons of old debris and crusty layers which made for an easy ascent. At the top we put skins back on and went up the last bit of the ridge before skiing back down the better chute. Snow was great here. Overall no instability’s found or new avalanches observed. The slight elevation and aspect change made for a night and day difference in ski quality.
