Shames backcountry

Snowboarder travelled out slow over a convex roll into 35 degree terrain and did a turn. As he did this the snow propagated 20 meters to his left and 40 meters to the right. It was fresh storm snow and loose and dry. The snowboarder was able to stay on top of the snow and dig his board into the snow to come to a stop. The avalanche carried over a bench and down another rock for another 150 meters. The snow underneath was still soft power snow from days prior.
