Quick trip with the snowbikes into core lodge. Trail up to the hot dog stand is alright, mostly has snow coverage. Nearer and in the back meadows some avalanche tests were conducted. Small storm slab sluffs could be triggered when released from rocks, on a NE facing slope A pit was dug in the back meadows, N facing slope. 85cm probed Crusts at 50cm and 65cm Column test, storm slab (approx 20cm thick) gave way above top crust at 2 hits from elbow, layer above lower crust gave way at 6 taps from wrist.
