Mt. Charles

Not quite enough snow on the face to ski from the summit yet but it's fairly stacked out there! Some of the worst skinning conditions for sidehilling with 10-15cm of pow on top of a sun/melt freeze crust but fun skiing. Went up and skied down inside a ping pong ball, but got some nice views of the summit higher up. Saw some big frozen pinwheels from past week at about 1300m. Snow seems quite strong and stable for the moment. New snow seems to be sticking fairly well to the crust, though it slides underfoot it didn't want to slough. 190cm depth at 1700m.
