Did not see any surface cracking throughout our travels. Ski pen under foot generally shallow <10cm. Observed firmer conditions under foot on S aspects and spots w prev. wind affect. Observed easy CT PC results down 10cm in recently buried SH. Easy/mod force ECTN's. Did not observe Jan. 28 SH on top of crust. The Jan 28 SH was absent, from my findings, in a few different quick pits varying asp W - N - E, but these where quick pits. We did not observe any test results on Jan. 28 interface in one pit (see annotated picture), but still not convinced its not there. All observations were generally around 2000m - treeline and apline ridgelines. Numerous other groups out ski touring stepping out into steeper terrain. Observed a very thin breakable surface sun crust on a sunny slope around 3pm, and it was not present in same loc with an E asp.
