Winter is in full effect in the North Arm Hills. Evidence of large(size 3) avalanches on East facing slopes, likely cornice triggered. The runouts went particularly far(100-200m) into the flats below. Likely from this weekend past weekend or earlier. We found good overall stability, with no avalanche problems presenting in our E facing dig sites. Everything was pretty packed in up high, with better snow in protected areas at treeline and below.
