Came out of hibernation for a lap up balu today. The uptrack consisted of side hilling and sadness. There was a group going up the north side of Cheops… not sure what the mission was but 🫡 the ski down was nothing inspiring…watch out for rocks and twigs…still. Lots of people out there. It was warm up top with south facing slopes shedding a lot of snow. I think they are seasonally confused. Temp on top of balu was +4. Surface hoar (3-4mm) has formed at the top. HS of balu was 130cm. Probably won’t be skiing for a bit. Currently in the wardens jail cell for peeing on the skin track. They forced me to write this min and they plan to keep me here. I’m scared. #freegorgegoblin
