Hermit Moraines

Skied the moraines and trees below at Hermit. Toped our at 2150m. At 1850m on the way up on top of a more flat feature when testing a convex mushroom the whole area had a big whumpf including some visible cracks on other mushrooms where the snow had settled with the whumpf. Very very soft slab maybe the cause. Didn’t test any harder then fist... Skiing was excellent! Cold powder. On one very steep west aspect an isolated suncrust was found but this is not the predominant aspect of the slope.
