Weather

Snowing 1"/ hr, little to no wind in the trees well below ridge line.

Snowpack

31 degree, NE aspect around 10,000'. Hs ranged from 100-120cm. Storm snow as of 2:00pm was 12cm. Seems to be bonding ok to old snow but instabilities within the storm slab were observed. Some localized cracking underfoot. Several steeper test slopes on SW aspects did not produce significant cracking or collapsing.

None observed, but visibility was limited.
