Snowpack

Test Profile 2028m SW 41 degrees, open glades with good view to the sky. Objective: investigating reactivity of crusts on solar aspects CTH21 SP down 110 on facets, size 2 with failure below the Nov 27 melt freeze crust (which is faceting out) Shears observed down 50 on Jan 05 interface, here a 2cm P melt freeze crust, but this layer was not reactive to compression tests or skier traffic. The 50 cm above this crust is mostly F-4F with 10cm of 1F, and I'll keep my eye on this layer as the overlying snow develops into a stiffer slab with time/weather input/additional load.
