Mixed sun and cloud. Various aspects. Various elevations, +/- 12k

Snowpack

Light 10-14" of ski pen (while climbing) on top of supportable layer from few days back. East facing aspect near Expectation. 11700 - 11900?

Avalanche

West facing Telescope, wide spreading crown, West facing Whitecap, widespreading crown in trees, West facing Dolores main path, small crown visible between rocks above treeline near summit. East facing from SE Ridgeline on Expectation in treed areas. Many propagating cracks connecting trees, Crown of 2-4' from night of Jan. 1 likely. 6-10" on bed surface and debris.
