Weather
Warm and windy. Snow and rain fell throughout the day. Winds picked up in the afternoon. Temperatures were mild.
Snowpack
Tuesday's storm over produced and an inch of SWE fell in the area. The heavy wet snow is overloading weak-layers at the bottom and in the middle of the snowpack. Strong winds are moving any available snow to leeward slopes. We are in a tricky time. Not seeing a widespread cycle, but when slopes avalanche they go big, ripping out trees and running to valley floor. Avalanche danger will continue to rise during this loading period.
