Weather
Weather was mild throughout the day, with temperatures dropping into the afternoon. Intermittent snow flurries (S-1) in the late afternoon.
Snowpack
HS 155 cm. 30 cm from the most recent storm (right side up, with notable settlement, and seemingly well bonded). Beneath that, was the storm snow from 2/6, which in this location fell on a knife-hard melt-freeze crust with facets beneath. All of our tests failed on this interface: CT14 SC, ECTP14, down 50 cm. Beneath that, the midpack slab is stout: 70 cm thick and pencil hard. Below, facets to the ground.

Small natural avalanche that released at the top of a convexity sometime in the past 48 hours or so.
