Snowpack

Snowpack depth ranged from 40cm in below treeline areas to 90cm on wind drifted slopes. Continued to get localized collapsing on wind loaded north-facing slopes. Dug on a steep north facing wind drifted slope down below a ridge. Found a deeper and stiffer slab than expected 90cm P hard with 10cm of faceted snow on the ground. ECTP 18 on 2mm Facets. Upper portion of the snowpack is weakening. Surface hoar and near surface facets developing on shady slopes.
