Weather

A trace of new snow this morning. Clouds increased as the day progressed and moderate snow began at 1200. Brief periods of light snow over the last few days have only added up to an inch or two of accumulation.

Snowpack

A strong multi-night freeze several days ago and unsettled weather lately is keeping the snow surface from overheating and has kept any wet snow avalanche activity at bay. Spring melt/freeze conditions on all aspects near and below treeline. Melt/freeze surface conditions are little less consistent on northerly aspects above treeline.

Avalanche

No recent observed avalanche activity in the last week or so.
