From the top of blackcomb to the entrance of the coulior we observed no evidence of windloading. At the entrance of the line I set of a small slab (5cms the width of the entrance) as I side slipped in. I proceeded to do 2 ski cuts and nothing moved. As I moved into a safe spot under the entrance to skiers right, the top layer of snow cracked above and below me (maybe 10cms I didn't get a good look as I was quickly sucked in) and carried me down 250-350 meters. I was submerged for the duration but when the slide exited the gulley it spread out and I was able to get to the top.
