Avalanche observations from a Pemberton SAR flight up valley to evacuate stranded hikers after their vehicle was struck by an avalanche at about 42km on the Upper Lillooet FSR. Access to Keyhole Hotsprings not possible at this time. A widespread natural cycle was observed to have occurred last night at TL to size 2.5 and open areas BTL. Mostly on N'ly aspects but some isolated activity on S aspects. Crowns looked to be 30-40cm on average. Pretty much every road cut bank in the Miller Ridge FSR cutblock at 1400m slid size 1. Please also note that the RCMP are considering closing the gate at 9km on the Lillooet FSR, just after the Hurley turn off.
