Opted not to ski the Wawa ridge bowl or the large slope skier's right of it and chose mellower terrain well to the right. Dug before entering the trees found less than 1m of HS with about 25 of it from this weekend's storm. The November 12 "Trump Crust" is about 5cm thick here and no longer supports a boot: it is faceting from below and the column fails easily when it is cut. Propagation Saw Tests produce consistent results indicating propagation would be likely. The expected cold temperatures, will not help here nor would additional load above this layer. Shallow areas will become the places to watch.
