Amazing ski quality in the trees near Burstall Pass. Worth the trek in. No evidence of instability during our ascent, but recent activity in the alpine and significant wind affect in non-sheltered areas kept us from poking around above treeline.

Noted a size ~1.5 windslab avalanche, possibly secondary to cornice failure (see pic). Likely recent given moderate-strong winds with precip present in alpine with crown/runout still visible.
