Skier triggered persistent slab when stopping at the top of a Steep (>40 degrees) partially treed slope well below treeline.Soft slab (4 fingers) propagated 12m to trees on either side, and ran 100m before stopping on a bench below. Bed surface was surface hoar (6mm), 40cm down (March 1st).
