Weather

Sunny and windy.

Snowpack

Recent winds have redistributed, beaten, battered, pressed, scoured and rearranged recent snowfall. The winds affects can be seen virtually everywhere, but most dramatically near and above treeline. Cornices and wind drifts have grown on lee slopes. The snowpack depth can vary greatly in wind affected areas, with areas of very shallow snow directly adjacent to 5' hard pillows.

Avalanche

Several large slides have run in the NSJ over the past week- mostly all triggered by wind.
