Clear skies with calm winds. Warm temps.

Snowpack

Snow was significantly more settled than yesterday. Ski penetration was half what it was yesterday. The past week of snow left approx 60cms of new snow which represents aprprox 2/3 of the current snow depth. We had several large collapses. Large facets were observed on the surface, and obvious wind effect on the snow surface from last night.

Avalanche

Lots of them. See attached photos. Most seemed to be near and below treeline, and crowns consistently seemed to be in the 2-3' range.
