Weather

Beautiful day out. Warm, OVC, no precip, very light winds. Back at the car at sunset with the storm coming in.

Snowpack

Traveled on Westerly aspects, NTL and BTL. Scoured at ridge line, thin for a few hundred feet below ridgeline, gaining depth as we descended. The more south facing terrain had a slight sun crust on it, the snow overall was wind affected and supportable to travel despite the recent storm cycle. Got a handful of wumpfs and cracks when traveling off the main track. Probing with ski poles we could feel the new storm snow settled and wind affected, some mid pack layers, and facets at the bottom. HS 0-90cm variable.

Avalanche

None observed, even with the nice weather we couldn't really see anything in the distance. Flat light.
