Avalanche

After some unproductive ski cuts at the top, I skied the right side down to where the slope narrowed to a gully, making a long high-speed cut to a small spine on the left. I felt the snow breaking at or near my skis, but as I got to the spine noticed it pulling out of thinner snow in sparse saplings on the spine above me. I skied off moving debris. I did not investigate the crown, but it seemed to be at the new/old interface. Crown appeared 1-2 feet on average. The skiers left side of the slope was obviously more loaded, with the skiers right having little or no slab. Debris stopped near the bottom of the apron.
