Nice walk out to Caballero, temps just below freezing -4 at the truck and a few degrees warmer as the day progressed. Dug a pit on north face. 160cm nicely consolidated snowpack ETCN18 at 40cm partial non propagating collapse. Standard column found the same Moderate 18 at 40cm Pack is 3 consoidated layers of roughly 40cm each on top of a non reactive facet layer down 120cm Beautiful day for a walk in the forrest and some surfy gully turns

Dug a pit on a north faced slope, found 140cm of very nicely consolidated snowpack. 3 larger 35cm deposits on top of a consolidated non reactive facet layer down 120cm ECTN18 at 40cm non propagating partial collapse. standard compression test found the same Moderate 18 at 40cm Very nice start to December snowpack.
