Weather

clear skies transitioning to mostly cloudy. BTL-calm NTL-light winds with sporadic moderate and strong gusts with no snow transport. consistent moderate winds on the summit with no snow transport.

Snowpack

recent storm snow was glopping skins from BTL to summit even with skin wax on east and NE aspects despite a heavey skin wax application. recent snow was 2 inches estimated. Snow surfaces were supportive BTL to NTL. Recent winds from last week created sastrugi on East and mostly NE slopes at NTL (see picture). No instabilities. ski descent was on creamy new snow on top of supportive layer to the forested area. snow was supportive from forest back to the reservoir.
