Location: Top of Old Powderhorn, Highway 65 Pull-off Elevation: 9527' Aspect: Western

Snowpack

Field observations mirrored those of Observations noted by CAIC at Skyway. Steps in unskied areas produced large cracking several inches below the surface. Snowpack in named ski runs was heavily compacted due to high use and did not exhibit cracking.
