high and dry with some light SW winds gusting to moderate at ridge top.
Snowpack
Trace to an inch of new snow/graupel on night of 4/6. Easterly aspects had minor wind slab deposition but was quickly being mitigated by strong solar. By mid morning the easterly aspects were turning to wet snow. Bootpacking near summits had us up to our waists at times in facets but that seemed isolated. No formal snowpack tests completed but ski quality was variable with a much more breakable crust near summits and a more supportable crust further down the face.
Avalanche
Numerous D1-D2 loose wet on S, W, and E aspects above tree line. Two D2 wet slabs on steep west faces above treeline.
