Weather
Overcast skies and light snow with very light S winds. This morning at 1130, 6.5" of new snow with 0.35" of water content. Snowfall eased as the afternoon progressed with 1-2" of additional accumulation.
Snowpack
Winds were very light and we observed no evidence of slabbing. However, we did observe some isolated, shallow, harmless (D1) natural slab releases on N-E-SE aspects near and below treeline, but ski tests produced no signs of instability on terrain adjacent to these releases.
Avalanche
Harmless (D1), shallow slab releases with some decent propagation.
