Weather

All day was clear. Light winds in morning, gradually picked up throughout the day. Plumes coming off of surrounding ridges.

Snowpack

25-50 cm non-cohesive snow <TL - roughly 5-15 cm new snow on older snow and facets. In windloaded areas (only E facing, near TL in this area), slabs varied from 0.5-2 m thick. Easily able to get whumpfs on edges of wind slabs, more difficult to affect windslab from middle. Further below TL, no slabs have formed yet, even with new snow on the old facets. Sun exposed slopes were starting to form slabs in the new snow. Depth hoar beneath.
