Avalanche Conditions

Sledder remote triggered size 2 slab Avalanche, crown averaged 1m deep and propagated ~350m. The larger slide triggered another size 2 with similar crown depth. Ran 50-100m. NE facing slope, wind loaded. Snow conditions were good, firm powder, some solar effect through the day. Whumphs and settlement of storm snow on low angle slopes, we stuck to mellow terrain, giving convex slopes and runout zones a wide berth. Additional wet sloughs and point release slides observed on all solar aspects in the afternoon.
