Went over to bag Mt Rohr. Measured 10cms of new at 1700m. There was strong winds higher up on ridgetop with growing windslabs on northerly aspects. Did a couple hasties at 2200m on NNE aspect, growing wind slabs were very touchy. Bailed and skied boot high pow down more sheltered slopes to Rohr Lake, some sections of wind crust mixed in. Saw remnants of cornice fall on the way up, not sure how old. May have collapsed in warmer temps earlier in the week.
