Purble knob to Hero's knob

Lots of facets. There has been some wind the last couple days. Found wind slab over facets on SE and south aspects but patchy. Decent skiing on north aspects where there is enough snow. Skied down the north aspect of purple knob. Nice skiing in the fan but a boulder field to get to treeline, then nice skiing throught the larches. Skiing up to Hero's on the south aspect was quite faceted with some breakable suncrust to make trail breaking interesting. North aspect on Hero's was well filled in. The wind has pressed the snow making it supportive. You could feel the old tracks but not see them, but surprisingly good. Out track was rough, easier to put your skins on early. Top of Hero's north aspect had a wind slab over facets for the top 20m, but unreactive to ski cuts.
