We rode Ursus Trees, lots or cracking, small pockets sliding, lots of settlement. Frequent Flyer went earlier in the day. We heard three large, long avalanches from the other side of the valley, vis was poor on the exit to see what had actually run. We saw two small crowns under the hospital knob (lookers left if your skinning by on the regular skin track). Making our way around the knob (up towards Bruins) to ski the gulleys out a size 1-1.5 ran from up towards the knob covering where the regular skin track would be. We decided to turn round and head out. Ended up taking the summer trail out so we didn't have to cross the Grizzly slide path. Ended up skinning to the parking lot. One of those days where there was too much snow for what it was safe to ski. Ce la vie.
