Peyto Glacier

ACC Jasper/Hinton Section Trip: 4 days on the N. end of Wapta Icefield. Climbed Mts. Baker, Rhondda & Olive. Approach via Peyto Lake, exit via Bow. No instabilities or recent avy activity observed (prev. WSl and LD to sz 2 obs.). Icefield heavily wind-affected. Avg. HS 230 on icefield; only 100cm at toe of Peyto Gl. Sunny but cold (T-low: -36C, T-high: -9C). Crampons were used on both Baker and Olive.
