The key to good skiing was staying ahead of your cinnamon bun rolls today. We found some fun conditions: Cream cheesy consistency snow on north to easterly facing slopes between 2100m and 1900m. We didnt try any south or west aspects today but suspect they wouldn't have been as good and likely had a higher potential to entrain more snow, creating loose wet avalanches. It was a warm day even though it was mostly cloudy, with temperatures at treeline reaching 3.5C in the afternoon. Still lots of snow left ; 180cm at 2000m!
