WEATHER: Mostly sunny with few high clouds, temps near zero in the morning rising to mid 30’s as the day progressed, light winds

Snowpack

SNOWPACK/AVALANCHE OBS: Skied from the base of red lady to the summit of Emmons. Temp was 5 when we started but warmed during the day, Slick sun affected skin track down low. sun crust on s/sw west aspects some what supportable depending on aspect and elevation. softened as the morning progressed, Little to no wind in the valley floor gusting up high from the west. Not really moving snow. Red Well basin was soft dry snow 8 inches ski pen.
