Snowpack

Surface hoar formed overnight were 2-3mm and won't last long with today's forecast temps. Surface hpar formed on supportive (for skis, boot pen 40cm) melt freeze crust 2-5cm thick. At Beeler grade (east aspect near treeline), snowpack depth ranged from 150-190cm. Snowpack was dry, with a 20cm snow temp of -4C. Mid pack resistence was 1F to pencil with ECTN24 at a decomposed mfc/facet layer. Notably, bottom 40cm of pack was dh sz 2-4 and 4F. No results on basal layer in tests.
