So far, storm #32 has behaved as forecast, with snow accum on the passes between 6"-10" since the onset yesterday am. We had a heavy burst of snow overnight between 10pm and midnight. Radar looks like we may see a break this morning. NWS forecasts call for lighter accumulations today, and another chance for heavier accumulations overnight into Monday (we'll see what the next update says). Current in Silverton: Cloudy. Winds light/var. Temp 31-33F. HN24 3.5" of very wet hard to shovel snow (too warm for more measurable snow). Current on Passes: Snowing. 5"-6" on passes south of Silverton. Very variable on the Red Mtn Pass side with 10"/.8 at one RMP site and just north at Idarado 5"/.3"; Monument HS was up & down due to warm temps, but water equiv looks like approx .5". Weather Stations: Ranging from S-SSW and Putney shifting W last hr. Speeds 5-10 G l5-25. RH 95%98%. Temps low 20's. Lower elevations around 30F (25F @RMP).
