Snowpack

Tour up to Coon Summit in search of a lost radio and more breakable crust. Found both! Steep SW slopes near and above TL had softened nicely in PM and had a "springlike" feel in steeper areas where the snowpack was shallow. Crusts were strong enough to support the weight of a skier on slopes steeper than 35 degrees. Less steep S and SW aspects were breakable. Winds were a bit stronger than forecasted with steady moderate NW winds observed above TL but did not observe any blowing snow. Overall, a mild sunny day out there.
