The snow pack showed no signs of instabilities until slide was triggered. light crust on top of heavy wet snow with depth hoar about one and a half feet deep and faceting on the ground. East aspect was heavily wind loaded, with constant winds of up to 30 mph. Temperature had been well over 32 degrees all day. Sunny with no clouds.
