Weather
Broken clouds to partly cloudy sky throughout the day. Occasional snow flurries. South to southwest winds were strong enough to transport snow above treeline.
Snowpack
New snow from the 26th measured 1.5 to 2 feet deep. Numerous avalanches were noted on slopes near and above treeline. One smaller slide on a below treeline east facing slope. Storm snow has developed into a soft slab, which now rests on weak faceted snow near and below treeline.
